Sam Bremner

Founder & Managing Partner

Sam Bremner is a seasoned entrepreneur and private equity investor with a 30+ year track record of building, scaling, and monetizing businesses across telecom, technology, and consumer sectors. He began his career in logistics, managing over 100 employees, and went on to found several start ups including Tell Canada Telecommunications, which grew into one of Canada’s largest alternative telecom providers before its acquisition by Sprint in 1993.

Following the sale, Sam joined Fujitsu as Managing Director of its Global Post-Merger Integration practice, where he led major IT integration mandates for U.S. banks and telecoms—including the $6B BCTel-Telus merger, then the largest in Canadian telecom history, delivering $300M+ in synergies.

Transitioning to investment banking and ultimately private equity in the early 2000s, Sam has originated and executed over 18 proprietary control investments. In 2013, he co-founded IVEST Consumer Partners, one of the only dedicated private equity firms focused exclusively on licensed consumer product companies. Under his leadership, IVEST has become a recognized player in intellectual property monetization and brand licensing.

Sam is an HBS alum, having completed the Corporate Restructuring, M&A Executive Series.
